I have a :
iMac G5
PowerMac12,1
CPU Type: PowerPC G5 (3.1)
Number Of CPUs: 1
CPU Speed: 2.1 GHz
L2 Cache (per CPU): 512 KB
Memory: 512 MB
Bus Speed: 700 MHz
Boot ROM Version: 5.2.6f1
Serial Number: W855104HTAR
I ordered: CT518445 2GB, 240-pin DIMM Upgrade for a Apple iMac (G5-2.1GHz, 20-inch) DDR2 System and want to be able to install it. Is there a guide somewhere for doing it? I have had a number of different computers apart and modified them, but never an iMac.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Pakman,
Instructions for installing memory on this system can be found at: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/iMacG5-iSight-Use
Once you have aligned the notch along the bottom of the module with that in the slot, just make sure you apply enough pressure for the module to click fully into place. If you find the memory is not recognised, please try reinstalling it as this is common with Apple systems.
