I have an 2.8Ghz 8-core Mac Pro 2008 model with 8 GB Ram bought last year from crucial in pears of 2GB.
System Profiler Continuously reports ECC Errors on a specific module can you explain to me what the problem is and whether or not I have to return the module for replacement.
The Mac Pro is used as a 24/7 server and as such it must always work at the highest possible level.
Thank you for you time and any help in advance
Alex

If System Profiler is reporting errors the memory module will need to be replaced. Please contact our Customer Support department or use the links on our RMA page to request an exchange. Be sure to use the proper link for your location.
