Hi;
Ijust purchased and attempted to install 2X 1 GB 200-PIN DDR2 SODIMM 128MX64 PC@-5300 FOR MY MACBOOK PRO 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo (15.4-inch) computer. I used the scanner function from crucial to order the memory upgrade. I followed the steps in the video, but after I installed the memory the computer wont boot and the light on the latch butto that opens the screen just keep blinking. I reinstalled the old memory and the same problem occurs. So now neither memory works???

From what you describe it sounds as if the memory is not fully seated. It can take considerable pressure to install memory in this type of MacBook.
You can download installation instructions for your MacBook Pro from this link.
