Hi people,

 I am looking to upgrade my memory to 4gig of ddr2 as fast as i can get kind of thing. At the moment I have the cheapest memory so by definition, its real slow.

 I dont upgrade my system very often but when I do I like to get the best I can.

 I am looking for DDR2 fast stable memory thats good for games. I apologise I know nothing about exact figures when it comes to speed but im quite pc literate.

Use the system scanner on the Crucial homepage. It will identify your system and give you some recommendations. BTW, it will give you all of Crucial's guaranteed compatible upgrade recommendations. So, if it's not on the list, it's not really certain to be compatible.

Thanks for the reply. But as my system is one Ive built myself, the tool dosent recognise my system.

You tried it and it didn't recognize it?! Or do you just believe that it won't? What make and model motherboard do you have?!

I tried the tool a while ago and it didnt work. I also tried it just now and it didnt work.

My motherboard is asus P5n32-e sli plus

Dual core 2300mhz CPU

4 gig cheap nasty ram

500gb hd

geforce 7900gs graphics card

I may be buying a new board soon and not sure yet if it will be ddr 2 or 3.
