Green Balistix DDR3 RAM?

Looking at the Crucial Balistix line of RAM I see there are green sticks available in triple channel kits like this:

http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=BL3KIT25664TG1337

but no where can I find a Dual Channel kit for Green sticks. I need 4 GB total of RAM so can i grab 2 of these sticks

http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=BL25664TG1337

and run them in dual channel mode?  Could I run 4 sticks of these

http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=BL12864TG1608 ?

I believe I recall reading that running 4x1GB sticks is harder on the North Bridge then running 2x2 GB sticks. Is that right?

Thanks!

Re: Green Balistix DDR3 RAM?

Yes, you can run two of those green 2GB sticks in dual channel and be fine.   They are the same you would find in a 2x2GB kit.

And yes, you could also run 4 of those 1gb sticks as well.   4x1 is a little bit harder on the NB, but can overclock a little bit better as well, so you have to decide there :smileywink:

Can any one else confirm or deny this?
