Ah I wasn't aware it wouldn't install. W10 uses the same architecture as Vista (and up as far as I know but they did rename in from NT6 (used in Vista through 8.1) to NT10 so an installer might well refuse to go there.

Yeah the funny thing is that since I didnt use the cloning software that came with the crucial SSD but rather the EaseUs cloning software. I was reading online that one of the issues was actually leaving the software that came with crucial installed. I thought this only applied to the crucial software, so i decided to uninstall the EaseUS Software and that seemed to do the trick. Im not sure why leaving the software installed would cause you issues. I tried finding a reason why, but I havent been able to find anything with regards to that.
Laptop hasnt frozen for the past day and hopefully it doesnt anymore. If anythign else happens ill be back here (hopefully that wont be necessary). I installed my AHCI drive and it still seems to be working as well.
