2 Gb SD card.

My new Crusial SD card , when intalled to my lap-top, says SD card (G).  This is great, but when I try to add anything , it states CANNOT BE WRITTEN TO.

In fairness, I did fit it to my LG KU990i phone, which asked if it should be formatted, to which I replied `Yes`.

Any idas or solutions please?

Re: 2 Gb SD card.

It is possible you formatted your card to something other than FAT32 or NTFS. You may need to reformat back to either of those two formats for them to work properly on your PC.

Re: 2 Gb SD card.

Another thing you can check is that the locking clip is not sliding into the 'locked' position as you insert it into the phone.  It may sound a bit basic but we've came across this before.  You'll have to try to keep it 'unlocked' as you slide it in.
