My dad got me this flash drive for school in 2008. I used it all year for school and non-school but at the very end of the year it started to act up. when i would plug it in it would first not be reconized by the computer. Then after I un plugged it and plugged it back in the computer would reconize it but still would not run any of the files on it. There is nothing on the drive but it would be nice to use it again this year instead of purchasing a new one. I have attempted to format it several times (on Vista and Xp) and all it says is: "Drive format could not complete. Can not access drive." I don't know what else to try. Any suggestions?

The way your Gizmo! USB drive is behaving, the easiest solution for you would be to simply replace it. If it was purchased during 2008 it is still under warranty, so we can do an RMA replacement for you. ![]()
