I have a Fuji DSLR the flash card is a 16GB SDHC Class 6, it will hold 3139 at a size of 3648x2736 each image is 28.5 MB, the camera is a 10 mega pixal.

How many pictures you can store on a flash card depends upon the size of the card, resolution of the pictures and method in which their compression (JPEG, TIFF or RAW). For a 16GB SDHC with a mega pixel  of 10 the estimated amount of pictures your card could hold would be about 574 for compressed files (28.5 /1024 = 35.9 x 16GB)or more than 574 for raw files that are uncompressed.
