Flash Memory Cards and USB Flash Drives

I have a Gizmo Jr. 4gb flash drive. I loaded it up with pictures from my desktop - a Dell PC running on Windows XP. When I try to plug it into either one of our laptops - a newly purchased Macbook Pro or a year-old Gateway PC (Windows XP) - it is not recognized. Need help. Thanks. (I did plug it back into the desktop and it was seen and had all the pix still on it.)

Also I plugged a different flash drive (Verbatim) into the Gateway laptop and it was recognized successfully.

Try this, plug it into the PC that doesn't recognize it and go to Microsoft updates and run the check for updates. There may have been a missed update.

Hello,

Another thing for you to try if you haven't already.  On most laptops, you have to plug the Gizmo Jr into the slot seemingly upside down.  Try flipping it over to where the gold pins are up instead of down.
