Hi
Just wondering if anyone else with a 128gb M4 on sata2 has updated to the new firmware, 009?
I didn't benchmark it when I was running 002 so I'm not sure if the speeds I'm getting are any good.
Spec:
i7 860 @ stock
Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3
4GB RAM
Crucial M4 128 GB Firmware 009 running on SATA 2
Win 7 64bit
Intel Storage Driver ver: 10.6.0.1002 (I'm going to update this to ver 10.6.0.1022 and benchmark again)
Benchmarked in AS SSD latest ver

Weird, I can see everything, but I do not know if your results are good or not.
Honestly I thik they are kind of low. I have 2x128gb c300's on sata2 and IIRC my results are higher; I will have to go double check
EDIT: NM; mine are in R0 and you are running a single drive; so you might be where you should be for Sata2

I am running my 128GB 009 with iastor on a SATA2. I get 26 mB/s 4k read and 67 MB/s 4k writes, so those seem slow. All the rest of your numbers look good though,

My 002 benchmarks are about the same as the 009 firmware upgrade. However, I noticed people using iastor for which I am unfamiliar. How is it used as opposed to ACHI. I use a single M4 drive.

iastor is the Intel Rapid Storage driver: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?

I will have to download this ssd tool. I used crystaldiskmark and show slightly higher #'s however I did mine new out of the box after 0009 update.
will report back after i download as ssd.
it does look like the 4k numbers are about half of what they should be though. the others just seem a tiny bit low
EDIT: looks like as ssd shows slightly lower scores than crystal diskmark. so it looks like your good, but low on 4k. this is on sata2 intel controller. If I ran it on marvel it should read higher with single drive
