I am told by Dell that the Latitude D420 can support an SSD, but I cannot find any compatible drives on Crucial's site. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Sirius

Do you know what sized drive you can fit to it? According to the last post here it only takes 1.8" drives: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=3
Whereas Crucials SSD's are 2.5"
With regards to compatibility they are sata drives just like all modern hard disks so all that matters is that you have a sata cable (instead of or as well as an old style ide cable) and a 2.5" (or 3.5" and adaptor) hard drive bay to fit it in. It looks like you are out of luck on the last point. ![]()
