Re: Status update: Firmware upgrade

Our lab has been testing the new firmware for several weeks and has experienced no issues. Additional testing is being completed by our controller partner, once we have the results from their testing we will post the firmware update. We are also in the process of creating an ISO image and finalizing documentation.

In addition, our lab is testing the Crucial Wiper tool for user initiated garbage collection.

Re: Status update: Firmware upgrade

Will the Crucial User Initiated Garbage Collection Wiper Tool work on RAID-0?  Supposedly Wiper does not work on RAID-0, but GC does....

Re: Status update: Firmware upgrade

I was wondering when a downgrade tool would be ready if there isn't one already ?

I'm on 1711... and I have 3 days to activate my windows, so I was going to wait and re-install but I don't want to have to loose the data twice.

Re: Status update: Firmware upgrade

If it isn't out in time, google 'windows 7 rearm'.  It's a microsoft approved (in fact built into Windows!) method to extend your activation period.

Re: Status update: Firmware upgrade

Ah you can do it in Vista too but I don't think you can in XP.
