Re: Status update: Firmware upgrade

Yes..

Either you create a Windows 7 diagnostic disk when you create a image or you can use the Windows installation disk and select repair and then restore image option...

Re: Status update: Firmware upgrade

I just got mine a few days ago (M225 64 Go) : blank SSD not yet installed. How can I know if the firmware is 1571 or 1711 ? The PDF guide for installing firmware is blank : where can it be found ?

Thanks for all.

Re: Status update: Firmware upgrade

To see what firmware version you have, go to Device Manager, under "Disk drives" right-click -> Properties on the Crucial drive. Then access the "Details" tab and on the drop down menu (labeled Property) choose "Hardware Ids".

(see attached image)

Re: Status update: Firmware upgrade

I'm sure they'll provide a guide/walkthrough of some sort on their website.

Re: Status update: Firmware upgrade

There is a firmware update guide located here: http://images.crucial.com/pdf/productFlyer/ProductFlyer_M225-Firmware.pdf Crucial may yet revise it though. As the new firmware is likely to require some additional steps to get from v1711 back to v1571 (for those running v1711),
