Hi,
here is my Mac spec.
Mac Pro 2009,
Snow Leopard,
Rocketraid 4320 Controller,
4 x 64GB Crucial SSD Drive (Boot Drive)
4 x WD 1 TB 72k Hard Drive (Stretch Drive)
Does this Raid Controller have compatible issue with the 64GB Crucial SSD Drive.
I successfully create the array with the Rocketraid 4320 Controller;
however, I am having trouble to initalize the 265GB Crucial SSD Drive (Raid 0).
Please Help!!!!!
Thank you!
Chris

Hi Chris,
Our drives can operate in a RAID 0 configuration and have been tested in various raid configurations using the standard raid controllers on many motherboards. However, we have not tested with this exact product therefore it’s not possible to guarantee compatibility.
The manufacturer of the Rocketraid controller may be able to provide further advice on this in case it is a set up issue or advise if there are any issues with using SSD drives with this product.
If you think it may be a problem with the SSD’s then you could try connecting them one at a time to the system and trying to format. If each drive is detected and formats without issue then it rules out a faulty drive.
I hope this helps!
