Looking at the spec of the Areca ARC-1680ix raid controller, we cannot see any reason why it will not work with our drives. However, as I said about the Rocketraid controller in your other post, we have not done any testing with this particular controller and our drives. It would therefore be better if you contacted the manufacturer directly for advice on using this controller with SSD drives in general, and also Mac Pro compatibility.
