Hi
My son's partner has an eMachines 2230 that runs XP on 256Mb RAM. As you can imagine this is awfully slooow. I want to upgrade the memory, but cant run the 'Scan My Machine' and the computer is not listed in the drop down boxes. I have tried all the troubleshooting tips for getting the 'Scan Myh Computer' to no avail.
Does anyone know what type of memory I need and what the maximum it will take?
