I have a msi MS7346 motherboard but scan does not list

I am looking to upgrade the ram in my MSI motherboard model MS7346 but crucial does not recognise.

 

I have 4 slots (2 free) the other two have 1GB DDR2 PC2-6400 (800MHz) Dimms what do you recommend and how much memory will it go to?

 

Is transcent memory any good?

Hi Sandra,

Your motherboard can support up to 8GB over four slots.  However, please bear in mind that a 32-bit OS will only see and utilise around 3GB when more is installed, whereas a 64-bit system can support 4GB and above.
