Crucial 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory
The product is rated at 1.5V, 1333MHz, 9-9-9.
However, I am not able to run any single DIMM or 3 together without freezing at these settings.
Since, all 3 DIMMs failed to run individually at specs, I don't think theres a bad stick, rather something wrong with my configuration.
I read on other forums that with i7 920, you cannot run at the rated specs without raising the DRAM voltage to about 0.45V above the QPI\VTT.
Since my QPI/VTT voltage is 1.48V, raising the DRAM voltage 0.45V above 1.48V would give me 1.93V!!!
At 1.5V, no DIMM would run at the rated specs. What should I do?

Don't make the large jump!! Increase gradually until you get stability. Continuously use MemTest86+ to test after system posts. Once the system passes with one stick, insert the second and retest. If it fails, increase the voltage slightly more. You can also boost the CPU voltage slightly. After you get the two chips to post and pass MemTest86+, repeat the process with the third stick added. If you should reach 1.7v and still not have stability on the first chip, set the first stick aside and repeat the steps using just the second stick. Once you've found a single stick that passes, use it to test all three of your slots. Note any failures.

but going above 1.5V would void the warranty. if i am not able to get rated speeds at rated voltages, then i am entitled to a refund or exchange for a better model
