Problems with Website

[ Edited ]

Hi there from a newbie.

I have been trying to order some memory for my laptop and am having major problems with the crucial website.

I have established which memory I need to buy, But when I try and put it in the basket I get "page cannot be displayed", then when it finally goes into the basket, I try and proceed to the Paypal checkout and I get the same message.  I even typed out an email in the contact section to advise of the problem and still got the same message.

I can't find a phone number for sales, so I can order by phone, if there is one.

I have bought from Crucial before and never had a problem, but all this doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.  I am tempted to go elsewhere.

Is anyone aware of problems with the website at the moment.  For information I have tried Firefox and IE on 2 different laptops and still get the same problem so don't think it's me.

BTW I am in the UK.

Re: Problems with Website

Hello Abbafan,

It was not you. We had a server down for unexpected maintenance at the time you were trying to place your order. The order was queued up and imported as soon as possible, and it's being processed now.

Sorry for any inconvenience. :smileyhappy:
