I think my RMA number expired

I just recently received an email stating that crucial has not yet received my memory. I did not get an RMA number because my junk mail filter got it. Anyway, now i recently got a message that i needed to return within 10 days. I was out of town at the time. I can now make the return, but i'm outside of my 10 day window. Is it too late? do I need to start over? My RMA # is 40982199.

It is past the 10 days, yes, your RMA was created on August 17th. However, if you send in the parts at your earliest convenience we will reinstate the RMA number and process the exchange when the memory arrives here.
